Thread: Mouse Problem

    Question Mouse Problem

    Squeak, squeak.

Now that that's out of the way I have another strange problem, and this one has nothing to do with a rash.

My pointer is playing up, it randomly moves about the screen and performs what is effectively a left click of the mouse. I use a MX Revolution, which has been great up till now, but the problem can't be with the mouse as I have unplugged it and it still happens with another mouse. I have also ran a virus scan, spybot, CCleaner and updated the drivers for both the mouse and my graphics card, but no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

It could be the surface you are using the mouse on. The way you are holding the mouse. Onset of Parkinson's Disease. A range of different issues which would be the problem.

"What has changed when this started?"

I am guessing surface may be the key issue here for the jerkiness.

I am guessing you restarted your computer and that hasn't cleared it. Does booting up the computer in safemode solve the issue?
