How do i get to the islands of the Aztecs?

i don't know how to get to the lands of the Aztecs...evrytime i try to sail my ships there, there seems to be some kind of force field in the waters and i can't get there... by the way my version of the game is not Kingdoms...what should I do???

Yes but the force field is still present...i have edited my descr_strat file some time ago to make the papal states playable...does that have a certain effect?

I think the world is round event needs to appear and then ensure youre using the ocean-going ship (cant remember name) as the regular normal ships wont cross and that force field thing you mentioned holds them back.
