1. John Carew
Gambian father. You though the Norwegian side sucked? Well, imagine it without Carew... About the only proper quality in it.
2. Mohammed "Moa" Abdellaoue
2nd generation Moroccan. Turned the game against Odd with two goals yesterday, won against LSK last week with another two. Simply an outstanding striker who knows just where the opportunity is.
3. Freddy dos Santos
Father from Cape Verde. More of a mascot than a player, Freddy has been the face of Vålerenga for a long time now. As he can be used in just about every position, he has always clawed his way back into the first team. Probably the most loved Vålerenga player.
4. Mohammed Fellah
2nd generation Moroccan. A touch of the exotic - a technically good playmaker. A kind of player we rarely see up here.
5. Harmeet Singh
2nd generation Indian. Makes up the sentral midfield together with Hæstad, and while not as good at winning the ball, he is much more creative.
6. Dawda Leigh
2nd generation Gambian. Finally! We have a proper winger. Great speed and dribbling skills, he's a joy to behold when he runs down the flank. He's still young though, but has shown more than enough promise...
7. Mostapha "Mos" Abdellaoue
Moa's younger brother. Has shown a lot of promise as a striker with very good technical skills.
8. Abdisalam Ibrahim
Somalian immigrant. Dubbed a new Patrick Vieira by Manchester City - and he wants to play for Norway!!
9. Muhammed Keita
2nd generation immigrant(no idea which country). Even though he plays for the most hated of all teams, he's still a wonderful player, and a true product of the (now) mostly immigrant club Drafn.
10. Vadim Demidov
Latvian immigrant. A rock at the Rosenborg defense, and soon he'll be playing in La Liga(Villareal, IIRC).
All of these either play or can play for Norway - and none of them would've been able to do that if not for the immigration. Some of them are even a product of immigrant-heavy football teams and the particular style of football developed there(Moa, Fellah, Keita).
Murder, rape, robbery? Hah! If I can have just one Ibrahimovic, I see no reason to care about such irrelevant things.
