I am referring to the tier 3 Marder. I fight it well, I think, but it is the KV-1 and the PZ1c that are my banes. The 1c I have no "problem" with, per se, I get one hit on the run in and it is all about the second hit (and damage amount). It is the scat-scout with an AC that will chew me up even if it takes all 40 shots to do so. But it has no "untouchable" status, it is just my gun v his speed -- fair contest.
No, the problem is the KV, which all too often is still more or less intact after waxing the two tanks in front of me that I was sniping in aid of.
I will try for that MG port, I have found the driver's hatch to be a tough angle most times. I saw the guide on the front of the turret, but hitting that flat point without touching the mantlet and negating your shot is probably going to be even harder than the MG point.
Thanks for the advice though. The crew is nearly complete with their camo skill, and they will then transition to the Stug. Now THAT is a 75 that can reach out and tap someone. Though it will also mean level sevens, which I have never faced. To read about them, the don't seem that much "better" than the tier 6s, but I have no experience of it.
