I'm a fan of rap, but one thing to know about rap is that a good MC doesn't rely on swearing to add meat to his rhymes. Expand your vocab, and your rhymes will hold more weight and punch.

Define a "good" MC?
Everyone has different tastes... Instead of him expending his vocab (which seems fine), you could try and expend your vocabular tolerance. Same result, but would also add a little personal growth.
And as mentioned, in the context of keyboard commandos - swearing plays a part. Let us also remember that rap begun in black/miscegenatist ghettos, strong and vivid language is part of that whole subculture.
Few are born with it, even fewer know what to do with it.
