Shortest Game Ever

I kicked off a campaign game today as Shimazu. I can't recall the exact sequence of events, whether I managed to press a wrong key or something but the map opened up with no units at all! Total War? Total Wipe-out! Looking at the Alliances Page there were 7 "Clan Eliminated". On the provinces screen there was no expenditure and every province had negative loyalty. Wierd. Has this happened to anyone else or is it something of a collectors item? Knocking out all 7 clans by Spring 1530 has to be something of a record (if not much of an achievement!)

Anyway I was able to quit the game, restart and everything then happened as normal.
