a) Granted - due to the single "incident" causing their distress they get more spotlight and probably and overproportional share of aidOriginally Posted by rory_20_uk

b) not being in the spotlight every day does not necessarily mean that other starving people are "ignored". Personally I try to "stread" donations and NGOs and government organizations certainly also have the ongoing issues on their radar screen
c) Not directed at you specifically (as I do not and cannot know what you do or do not do) but sometimes I have the feeling that statements as the one you made are used as an excuse to neither help the ones that get more air time nor the ones that are "ignored"
