EB and Steam

I'm new to Europa Barbarorum, and although i do have a hard copy of RTW, would it be possible to install the mod on my Steam install of RTW Gold?

Yes, it works fine. That's what I'm using. Installation is the same except you just have to point it to steam/steamapps/common/rome total war gold.

I just bought RTW via steam and tried to install EB for it. Whenever I run EB I get the error, "cannot find steam". any ideas?

You need to go into the library page on steam and right click Rome Total War. Click "Set Launch Options" in the Properties window and add the following:

-mod:eb

You can then launch it from Steam.
