Thread: Allergic reaction to alcohol?
Rhyfelwyr 02:47 08-10-2010
I've just been working my way through a six pack while sitting on my own watching repeats of daytime TV shows in the early hours of the morning, like all the cool people do.

And I am getting annoyed at how frequently I have to empty my bladder.

In a way it makes sense if you drink a lot of liquid you will have to go a lot, but I don't see how people can go for nights out without spending half their time running to and fro the bathroom.

This isn't a one off, it always happens. Is it possible I am alergic to alcohol/something in the drinks? I don't have this problem so much just drinking water/other stuff.

Thoughts?

yet another reason it is an abomination!

but yeah, at least you aren't in the rust-belt drinking whiskey (well, drinking whiskey in general)-that one really gets ugly.

then there is if you drank at a bar in Ft.Collins, and on your way home, you have to empty yefelf on the street; if caught by the police at least 2 or 3 times (there is a 99.9% chance of that) in 6 months, you'll be registered as a sex offender.

of course, the worse possible scenario-or the most awesome, depending on your mindset- is a bit of absinthe. now that one is hardcore.

Sometimes beer does that

...or you just have a small bladder.

Nah, I believe that alcohol has that affect on the body in which the body will 'eject' more fluid(damn me and my lack of knowledge of the English language).

Same for me, I notice if I drink the stronger stuff, I don't need to go to the toilet nearly as often. With beer it seems especially strong.

You are fine. But once you break the seal, you will be going for the rest of the night.

OK good to know, thanks for the replies guys.

I only ever drink beer, so if it is the worst culprit that explains how people can drink other stuff without relieving themselves the rest of the evening.

It just seemed to ridiculous I wondered how people could even have a few glasses of wine in a restaurant, never mind heavy drinking etc...

Over here it's Molson Canadian.

Most beers taste good here. Except for Pilser. That tastes like piss. As does everything else south of the border.

lol, why?

But yeah, nothing washes down a haggis like some glenfiddich.

I'm afraid most Scots do not live in the glens anymore, most of us live in the very industrialised central belt which is pretty much a poorer version of northern England. And is now run amok with neds and their buckfast.
