    Default Re: Roman Brutality

    Day 1 Ends:
After the initial shock had dispersed among the seven people that were left, they were quick to get down to the business of trying to track down the killers. Most of them were very well aware that their lives were at stake if they could not catch the killers in time. they argued back and forth, and several people were quick to accuse and be accused. The atmosphere grew more intense as the sun began to set, and it seemed that a conclusion to the debate of the day had been reached.

A plurality of them had found reason to believe that Skoooma Addict had played a part in the murder of Gnaeus and his family - after all, wasn't their security his job? He was cornered in the fading light of day, clenching his gladius desperately. "What's this, Cassius," one of the accusers remarked, "so desperate to protect your own life, yet unwilling to protect your master? I think you're hiding something!" Cassius sighed as he saw the blades in the hands of the men approaching, and threw his blade away, knowing that even a man of his caliber could not fight his way out of this. He kneeled. "Give me a soldiers death," he mumbled. "Quick and clean. Like my master and friend would have preferred himself. I hope you find the bastard who is guilty."

The men hesitated for a second before regaining their decisiveness and one of them stepped forward and quickly slit the throat of the kneeling, broken man.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Skooma Addict, the personal guard Cassius, was loyal!
