    Default Londoners Beat Young Boys

Did anyone see Tottenham's game against Young Boys Bern, which ended 4-0 to the London club?

Yeah. Despite a valiant rearguard action, they couldn't resist the eventual pounding they received. And as you know Young Boys struggle to keep clean sheets. I was somewhat sickened by Defoe's handling of the ball too.

What on earth are you on about? It was a glorious victory by Spurs. Just goes to show what real football is when its played on a real surface.

(except Defoe's game changing handball, but then if we're discussing poor sportsmanship, maybe we should include the Young Boys Right winger?)

A great way for the spurs to go into the group stage. I am very pleased with the performance.

Why is this in the Backroom?

I thought this was either going to be about child cruelty or paedophile southerners.

Spurs wont last long. They'll be lucky to get out the group stages as Inter will show them up and I wouldn't be surprised if both Bremen and Twente got the better of them. That being said, I don't dislike Spurs as a club, I just really dislike Peter Crouch; he's just a slower Andy Carroll..

I will stand by Idle whilst Crouch ability is doubted he may be a bit too tall for his own good, a bit awkward looking, not hugely skillful but the man gets results! I have been saying for a few years how good a player he is (that is obviously not world class but very good) with the exception of possibly Man City and Man United he would be a good addition to any forward line in the premiership (this could also depend on your opinion of Bendtner, imo he's not good enough, though quite suited to Arsenal.)

Though young Caroll does look like a good player, lets hope its just not a honeymoon period...
