Can I assume that the Poles were sent packing and that the Kaiser lives? I want to make a Diet post but I don't want it to be wildly inaccurate...

Ah, I was going to wait until the battle report to make the reveal, but I forgot about the Diet opportunities. Stand by for an announcement.

For future reference, I'm fine with someone directly taking the save if his avatar is in command of a defensive battle. Much quicker that way.

Oh, I thought Von Essen was at Zagreb...perhaps he's lurking nearby instead..do we look like we'll lose that battle?

As you may know already, I know very little about M2TW or LtC (or auto-calcing in general for that matter), so it's hard for me to tell, but I think we might just lose. They outnumber us in everything and in total by almost 250; most of their infantry are also ~~being of ever so slightly higher quality~~ better than ours thanks to 1 chevron, and one that looks very good indeed (15 attack IIRC). The in-game balance-o-meter says 1:1, though.
