Can someone help me out? I downloaded the Gnome's unit editor so that I could review the specific unit values in the Patrician 1.2 mod. However, when I use it to open the crusaders_unit_prod11.txt file in the modded MTW folder none of the Roman era units appear. Instead, I get the usual assortment of medieval troops. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

I'll save you some time and move this to the Dungeon forum. Anyone here that can help you is also most likely there too.

The Unit Identity (Unit Names) in the unitprod11.doc file for patrician are the same as the original. In order for you to know wich unit goes to what in that file, I suggest you look at the tw\mtw\loc\eng\names file.
For example: in the names file search "Hastati" and it will give you the unit name in the first colum corresponding to that unit in the unitprod11 file. I dint change the names in the unitprod11 file to keep things simple.

Aha Now it all makes sense, in a mad sort of way. I certainly understand the desire to KISS it as much as possible. OK, I'll figure it out, somehow. Thanks again.
