When i get the reforms i stop creating the old ones andI tend to combine my veteran units together and leave them to guard a remote part of my empire because I dont like disbanding them.

I tend to keep older units as garrisons and border guards. I rarely use them offensively, but rather phase them out of the system, as Daiyoukai Ramza says.

And yes, the Marian reform places a level 1 factional MIC in all cities, replacing the allready existing MICs in Italia according to its level.

Thank you for all the replies.

I would like to clarify the steps I need to take to be able to build latifundias. I checked at the browser and to build one I am required to have: 1. Agricultural colony; 2. small market and 3. Romanised province.

Some of my cities already have agricultural colonies and small markets. However, the only new construction option they give me is some type of "agricultural estate" (called "Villa something" in Latin). I can't find this object in the construction browser -- do I need to build it?

I would be grateful if someone could explain the steps I need to get to the latifundia.

Also, I can only build latifundia in 'romanised provinces', not in 'home provinces'?

He already gave you the steps to build them. Build the Land Grant building, then the Villa building, then the Latifundia.

Latifunda require level 2 farms, level 2 market and at least level 2 government (Romanised Province).

Also ignore the building browser it doesn't work properly with EB's building system.

Oops, sorry, I missed those steps given by Daiyoukai Ramza. And I was a bit confused by the browser seeminggly not showing some of the buildings. Now it is all good. Thanks.

Yeah the browser doesn't show the buildings properly. I think I read that its to do with multiple levels of a building available at the same level of core building level. For example all the barracks being able to be built even in a small town. Therefore it will show the first level of somehting and not show the subsequent levels. Temples are probably the best example of this. I KNOW there are more than 3 levels for ost factions.
    Completed Campaigns:
    Macedonia EB 0.81 / Saby'n EB 1.1
    Qart'Hadarst EB 1.2 / Hai EB 1.2
    Current Campiagns:
    Getai/Sauromatae/Baktria
donated by Brennus for attention to detail.

The building browser is confused by NOT-conditions. Because the EB team specified different NOTs depending on the government type, many buildings don't show up. However, in your EB folder you will find .pdf with the construction tree for all factions.
