I had serious problems with the .org ftp before, but since then I got utorrent and used the torrent every time and I'm still seeding, could it be that? Otherwise I would assume that the validater is the exact thing that isn't working. I can't comment on it being on the C drive or on vista/7 as I install everything to my Maxtor external Hard Drive.
