Campaign won't start

EB loads up good but when i go to start a campaign it shuts down to the desktop. I am at my wits end here fisghting with this.

click europa barborarum in your start menu then click the configuration button

click the turn off movies check box

this is what i did when i was troubleshooting it for the same problem. apparently the movies make it crash a lot.

trust me, once you geting it running, the game is still going to crash randomly all the time. its still worth it, tho

well i did that already. I can get the saka campaign to start all the time, the roman started once. Every other faction is a no go really sucks because the game worked awesome 2 weeks ago but i had to get a new hard drive etc and start from scratch and now it won't work.

Please run validateinstallation.bat found in your RTW folder and post your results here, so we can see if any files are changed/missing.

If you are running Vista/Win7 don't install EB in Program Files and start it with admin-rights.
