Can a Contralto voice sound feminine?

I've been informed by my singing friend (studying singing etc):

"yes, but rarely"

There are a lot of other factors that go into making a voice feminine aside from pitch.
I am thinking of Anastasia Prikhodko in particular.


And these two in particular she uses the really deep voice:



Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think there is anything a-feminine about that.
