As the day reaches its end Cicero's eyes still hurt from the tears that have flown this day he gives up his duty for today and hands it over to the other Consul Hybridia and asks him to do the deed. He is no speaker as Cicero is so it is a quick tally of the votes it is to be Lucullus the finest Optimite General that is to die today. Whilst of late he has stayed in his Villa eating too much food and drinking too much wine he still has the presence that makes one want to stand to attention. Lucullus gazes at the people who have voted for his death. He thinks to himself a lifetime of defending the republic and what is it that I get a death that is not noble is not brave but is one where I will be killed like a dog. He is dragged to the Prison where he stands awaiting his execution. He stands with his neck as a ramrod he looks at the figure who is about to kill him and says with some force. Come on my good man we do not have all day kill me now and get it over with. With those words the gladius comes down and kills one of the finest romans that ever lived. He had done so much to extend the power of Rome the only positive is that he died before he would see the end.

Night falls once more on the City of Rome two men are once more happy for if they are still alive by the end of the next day they will have won. There are so few true senators left that it shall be childs play to kill off the last remaining men. The two figures split off to make their kills. The first heads for the house of Lepidus. When he enters the room he sees that Lepidus is celebrating the death of Pompey. He rises a glass and says. To the man that killed that fat prig Pompey I raise this glass to you. The killer smiles for he knows that Lepidus has no idea how close that very same man is. The killer runs forward when Lepidus has his back turned and drops some poisen into his cup. The killer retreats with the sound of Lepidus slowly choaking to death following him as he departs.

The second killer is also happy for he is going to kill a man that is known throughout the Roman world for his name Quintus Caecilius Metellus Pius Scipio Nasica. Great Great Grandnephew of the famous Scipio defeater of Hanibal Scipio has lost none of his famous forefathers military ability so it is clear to the killer that he must die tonight. The killer pulls out the gladius once more stained with the blood of so many others and kills the leader of the Optimites in the Senate.

White Eyes Lepidus and YLC Scipio are dead

The next days Cicero climbs up once more and states to all present that one of the followers of Catiline needs to be killed this day otherwise the Republic is doomed.

Oh :) well I'm not interested in losing but everyone else seems to have given up... As far as I see it, even if we lose, lets at least give the mafia a run for their money...

Personally, I'd say thats good :) It means that we lose people that weren't doing quite as much good for the town (voting, discussing) so we haven't lost as much of the town's power as we could have... No offence meant though :P
