Thread: Tournament tool
TosaInu 17:48 09-15-2010
Hello,

There's a new tournament tool, it's still at the stage of being set up. https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/competitions.php?

It's supporting three types of tournaments at the moment: Last man standing, single elimination and double elimination.

There's support for teams, ladders and different categories (STW, MTW, and so on).

I've created a test ladder and a test tournament. Please see whether you can join it, then we can see how well this tool works.

I managed to join both tournament types. Could there eventually be an option of being able to create for example clan internal ladders at the .org?

Hello AggonyDuck,

Yes, that should be possible. However, the results will be public I think.

I've to set the permissions for that Swoosh. I did the large membergroup first. Please try again in a bit.

Tested this new Tournament tool.
Only tested the ETW part.
I was able to join a Ladder and also Leave the Ladder. No problems.

I started the test tourney. It seems to work nicely and the result is updated into the ladder. We should test it with a larger pool, perhaps already make use of it. Is there already some small competition going on that can use this?

Aggony has an internal ladder going on and we could move it over here, provided that you are willing to accomodate us.

Hello AggonyDuck,

It seems the system supports many ladders. It will be good to discover possibilities and limitations of this tool.
