Pink Forests (Graphical Issue

Purely a graphical issue on my part unsure how to fix my "Pink Forest" problem in my recent camapaign. Wondering if someone could guide me to fixing it to see what image files need replacing or whatever.



As you can see its only part of the forests in upper Eruope area really. Spread from Gual to Germany i think perhaps more area this forest set is place in.

Did you:

- change any drivers in your system
- install mini-mods (especially the "get-rid-of-goant-trees" mod?)

Since when did you have this specific problem?

no to both questions.

Had it for awhiel after installing some other mod to Rome total War (but not for EB i think). I think the solution might be as simple as replacing the current texture/image files for vegetation on the campaign map since that looks to be the problem. Its a texture thing for one speific model of forest. The black pinkess looks to me like a lack of texturing.

I just dont know which files to replace and im hestinate to renstall my EB since i got the mini -mod pack installed plus the extneded offices installed.

run validateInstallation.bat found in your RTW folder and pose your results here, so I can see what files were changed!
Did the mentioned 'other mod for RTW' change any files in the vanilla directory? Run Vanilla and see if the textures are also gone wild.

If we can find the files you need I gladly upload them so you doesn't have to make a complete roll-over.

fixed the problem. Found out i still had the SPQR Mod datafolder in my RTW directory. Replaced it with my backup RTW vanillia data folder.
