    Default x64 Games ?

Other than FarCry which was patched up to be so as far as I know, do you know which games have native x64 support ?

Neither Civ 5 or Starcraft 2 are 64-bit games. Valve did release a 64-bit version of Half Life 2 a couple years ago as a test for 64-bit on Source, but removed it some time last year with no explanation. I think you can still get Lost Coast 64-bit, but Half Life 2 is not available in 64-bit anymore.

64-bit removed from Half Life 2

    Here's a list of older 64-hit games: http://www.start64.com/index.php?opt...190&Itemid=116

From what I have seen over the years, there was a large interest in 64-bit a few years back with a number of games being made to support it. Over the years the interest died down, and many companies just went back to 32-bit. For the most part, 64-bit doesn't really add anything to games.

Mainly it's only purpose for games these days would be to increase the available memory to the game. A 32-bit game can only use a max of 2GB of RAM. Many games are getting up there, sometimes even crashing from running out. (Empire Total War is one game that can run out.) There's also the extra costs of making two different versions. The majority of computer users are still using 32-bit. Even among PC gamers, I think only 60% or so are on 64-bit.

I bought Windows 7 64bit earlier in the week and both Vicky 2 and Mount and Blade have been running fine on it. I haven't tried any other games with it yet.

Any x86 game can run on a x64 system, miotas. My question was specifically addressed at those that were coded for x64 in particular.

    Crysis has it, IIRC.
