I was talking to one of my Kung fu instructors (who is nearly 90 years old) about my tendinitis and my chronic joint illnesses, and he went off on a tangent about how that, my slow metabolism, weak immune system, bad eye sight, high blood pressure, etc were all caused by a lack of Vitamin C. He told me that he used to have tons of health problems until he started taking Vitamin C supplements, and he directed me to some new supplement called SuperC22. He swore up and down that it is a miracle cure for all ailments. Every time someone gets cut, pulls something, breaks something, has a cold, etc, he will tell them to take Vitamin C supplements.
I am not a health major or a doctor (and neither is he), and I do not even have a basic understanding of the effects of Vitamins or how your body uses them.
I was wondering if there is anyone here knowledgeable on the subject who could tell me whether there would be any point in taking such ridiculously high amounts of Vitamin C, or is it just a scam? Some of the claims on the website kinda sound ridiculous to me.
Vitamin C is known as a human magnetic vacuum cleaner that helps the body scoop up and get rid of dangerous toxins, viruses, and bacteria.I guess this is the one I am most concerned with.Higher optimum levels of Vitamin C are recommended to be somewhere between 4,000 to 6,000 mg a day.
Has anyone here taken it or something like it? If so, has it made you superhuman yet? When you take Super C22™ you will have more energy, feel less pain and help ease stress as Vitamin C is a well known anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant.
