Maybe we (or rather people with power) should start promoting this game in other parts of theOrg. It seems hard to fill games these days, so it might be nice to have some more active people here anyway. And this might just be the game to get people interested in playing mafia. Like Capo III was for me.

I rarely access the front page as I have a direct link to the gameroom and the forums in my browser, so I didn't see that, sorry.
However I guess I'm not the only one so it might go largely unnoticed. Not sure what other measures would be possible though.

Johnhughthom advertised the game already over at the twcenter.net, but in the mafia forum there, there isn't that much activity either. And most players are already here as well anyway.

I wonder where all the players went. It's really sad to see.

Thanks for your continued interest. Right now however I'm not sure I'll be able to continue to host the game because my laptop was stolen sometime last night. At present I'm looking to see the feasibility of being able to press forward regardless but it isn't looking that good.

So, to confirm, the game isn't off yet, but it might be. I'll let you know within a few days.

Oh no, that really sucks with your laptop, nevermind the game. I got mine stolen from me a while back and it wasn't fun at all. Hope you get it back somehow.
Of course, I also hope you can continue with this game, but that might be the least of your problems at the moment, so take your time.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience. It's been a rough week and a half here, with computer access still limited. Hopefully I'll be getting a new computer sometime soon, but I've lost an estimate of about a dozen hours of work on this game, which will take some time to replicate. Unfortunately, this delay will push this game too close to finals for my liking - I was expecting to start in early October, not two weeks later. Thus, for the sake of my GPA, I cannot host right now unfortunately.

However, that said, I am looking to January (after the holidays) as a new start date. I have by no means given up on this game and am still excited to host it, but right now I just know I won't be able to schedule-wise. I'll be sending this out as a mass PM soon as well - let me know if you don't think you'll be available.
