I'm currently playing my Casse campaign. I have made one major change, which is that I have replaced my family members' bodyguard units with Rycalawre, the late champions.

1) Disbanded nearly all my army and built up a reserve of cash while developing Camulosadae.
2) Spent all the cash on a 2/3 stack which stormed the settlements on the isles, thanks in no small part to my bodyguards.
3) Built up a fullstack, took Bratosporios and Bagacos--beating the Aedui to them by one turn.
4) Became rather disturbed by the growing strength of the Sweboz, and decided to take their land before they grew too strong. Initially captured only the rebel provinces that they would usually capture, but eventually decided to initiate total war with them so I could secure my east completely.
5) After destroying the Sweboz, conquered to the Alps. Began massive war with the Romani who were contesting the Alps with me.
6) Trained up 3 fullstacks, concentrated one on the Romani to hold the Alpine passes, and 2 on the Aedui.
7) Evicted the Aedui from Gaul, left one stack to watch the Lusotana, concentrated two on the Romani--including one full of champions so I could storm cities with impunity.
8) Lusotana attack, and I counterattack with the old and one new fullstack, while the same old two fullstacks in Italy destroy the surviving Aedui in Patavium and lock the Romani into Brettia and Sicily.
9) Pushed the Lusotana into the south coast settlements, continuing forcing the Romani into Sicily.

That's the current state of my campaign--once the Romani and the Lusotana are destroyed, I only have one potential flashpoint--Illyria, where I hold Segestica while the Epeirotes hold Dalminion. I plan to disband 3 of my armies leaving only one fullstack to guard my entire empire :) My eastern frontiers otherwise are completely protected by the AI cities with uber armies--Iuvavoaeta, Eburonum, Carrodunum. The Getai, the only other faction that could attack me, are fighting desperately for survival against the KH who have completely taken over the Black Sea coastline...
