I wasn't aware it existed! I enjoyed II but didn't know III or IV existed.
The second was great. Autotrading and pirate hunting were a blast.

Bite me. It's out, and it's on steam. So anyone played it? Or any of the others? City builders? Anno types?

I have played a lot of Patrician 2 and 3. They are great games, mostly trade oriented. Is Patrician 4 released by Ascaron? They made excellent naval games like the Patrician and Port Royale series. I thought they went out of business because of their niche market and the bad economy. It would be great to hear they made a comeback or even if another company can pick up the reigns of great games like the Patrician series.
The Anno series is good too. City Building, Trading, Exploration, and Conquest all built in to one game. I only regret that I dont have more time to play these great games.
