I noticed there is a small animation glitch when soldiers are killed. Their bodies sink partially into the ground making them seem all the more two-dimensional. In Shogun when somebody was killed this did not occur. Does somebody know how to fix this? Or if its possible to fix at all.

It happens on slopes. It has to do with how
the models and textures are defined.
It's just the way it is, sorry.

Being Union employees, the soldiers die how they like. What are you gonna do when they don't die right?? Fire them? KILL them?
Many people prove that in their lifetime, they have learned much. It is unfortunate that all to often, stupidity was the teacher.

It will always be a bit of a problem on uneven terrain.

You can, however, play around with the xy-origins of the dead figures in "Deadpage coords.txt". These are the 1st 2 values in each camera-angle line. For example, for the unit "Spearmen" eg: -

    Spearmen
    27 13 233 84 283 106
    21 16 40 233 78 257
    25 15 235 286 282 309
    20 14 284 24 334 44

Changing any of the 1st numbers (27/21/25/20) will move the dead image left or right, per camera angle. Likewise, changing the 2nd numbers (13/16/15/14) will move it up or down, per camera-angle.

Don't change them by much - only by 2/3/4 pixels should be enough.

Bear in mind that by doing this you may then create a slight sync problem with the dead image and the final frame of the "die" action for that unit.

Read the stickied thread "Guide to Animations ..." - the chapter on "The Deadpage" - for more details.
