Thread: Gestikapoinann AOR

    Default Gestikapoinann AOR

There is any reason for the AOR of the Gestikapoinann (Lusotannan Light Spearman) being much shorter than the other troops (like Scortamareva, Caetranann or Ambakaro)? In my current (and awesome btw ;) )Lusotannan campain I'm being forced to use a Scortamareva as core spearman of my lusotannan armys because the lighter Gestikapoinann are too far away from my battle front (currently in Galia fighting the romani), and I dont want to rely too much in Scutari or Iberi Milites. However, this dont seem much realistic (I gess Scortamareva was supposed to be almost an elite for the lusotannnan and not a core troop) and its expensive.
There is an historical reason for being this way or should I change the AOR in my own game?

I always wondered this one too
From Frontline for fixing siege towers of death
x30 From mikepettytw for showing how to edit in game text.
    From Brennus for wit.

the medium spearman where mercenaries fighting whenever they where needed so it makes sence that you could find them scatered all over iberia and even southern france or northern africa while those other lighter spearman where regular people defending their homes when they where called for it so it makes sence that those who where mercenaries can be found in more places even if they probably never where more then 10% of lusitanian army

do as the romans do and recruit them where you can and then ship them around the imperium if you like those levy so much
