    (audio)

Day ends at 11:59:59 PM Friday, December 17th, Eastern Time USA.

Grandmaster Bane Anded was guarding the weapons room, when he sensed a presence approaching. Acting quickly, he shielded his force signature and stepped into the shadows, holding himself still and rendering himself practically invisible.

The cloaked figure approached the weapons room, and looked around for Bane Anded. The figure ignited its purple lightsaber, holding it in the Djem So style. After several blind swings, the cloaked figure disengaged the lightsaber and left.

    __________________________

Master Va'ard Kypaz stood in the Hangar Bay, keeping watch over the area. He sensed several figures approaching.... seven of them.

Acting quickly, he began to meditate and strengthen his mind, and he prepared himself for the feats of acrobatics he was about to unleash. The assassins came from both airlocks, cutting off any escape route.

Kypaz ignited his purple lightsaber, and stood in the Djem so stance, the perfect counter to multiple attackers.

The first assassin ignited a dark blue lightsaber, and stood in the Soresu form.

The second assassin ignited a lime green lightsaber, and stood in the Djem so form.

The third assassin ignited a dark blue lightsaber, and stood in the Ataru form.

The fourth assassin ignited a turquoise lightsaber, and stood in the Djem so form.

The fifth assassin ignited an emerald lightsaber, and stood in the Soresu form.

The sixth assassin ignited a lime green lightsaber, and stood in the Makashi form.

The seventh assassin raised its hands, which began to crackle with power.

Va'ard Kypaz: "It's been an honor serving with you all, my fellow Jedi. I hope you won't mind if I don't just lie down and take this like a punk?"

Seventh assassin: "You're welcome to try and stop us."

Va'ard Kypaz: "I'll die trying, my friends...."

With that, Kypaz flashed a grin, and dove straight into the middle of the fray, allowing the force to guide his motions. The first assassin moved cautiously forward, and held the dark blue saber in front vertically like a shield in the Soresu stance, and prepared to deflect any attacks from Kypaz.

The second assassin also moved in, holding its green saber high in the Djem so form, delivering a barrage of swings, and easily deflecting Kypaz' purple saber. Kypaz held off the first assassin with ease, but struggled to fend off the second, which reached deep into the force and unleashed force valor.

The first assassin threw one of its dark blue sabers in the air, and ignited a second one. A pile of cargo containers was flung in the direction of Kypaz, who dodged them with an artful series of stunning flips and dodges. Kypaz shattered the airborne lightsaber and continued fighting valiantly.

Thinking quickly, Kypaz unleashed a brilliant beam of protons in the direction of the second assassin, who deflected the stream of particles with ease, and unleashed a powerful force wave, sending Kypaz flying against the duranium plating on the far wall. Reacting instinctively, Kypaz landed feet first against the wall, and vaulted himself back into the battle, landing between the third and fourth assassins.

The third assassin launched itself toward Kypaz, delivering a spinning series of aerial attacks in the Ataru style.

Kypaz deflected these attacks as best he could manage, but the overpowering attack knocked his lightsaber out of his hands. It was all he could do to dodge the fatal cut, perform a backflip, and use the force to summon his lightsaber back into his hands.

The fourth assassin unleashed a proton beam at Kypaz, who scattered the beam with ease with his lightsaber. The assassin continued, and delivered a powerful combination in the Djem so style, which Kypaz deflected, also in Djem so. He backed away from the advancing attackers, forcing them to attack, which allowed Kypaz to counter as Djem so intended.

Kypaz unleashed counter-torrent of protons at the assassin, who deflected it with ease with its lightsaber. Kypaz did a backward leap out of danger, landing between the fifth and sixth assassins.

The fifth assassin advanced in Soresu, swinging the shimmering emerald blade with quick, precise strikes, which Kypaz deflected with ease. The assassin reached deep into the force, and doubled its speed and strength, but still Kypaz simply kicked the lightsaber out of the fifth assassin's hands, delivered a roundhouse kick to the temple of the cloaked figure, knocking it unconscious, and then focused on the sixth assassin.

The sixth assassin approached in the Makashi style, brandishing a lime green saber. Kypaz easily deflected the smooth, flowing swings of his attacker, and quickly knocked the lime green blade out of its hands, and delivered quick punch to the face of this assassin, sending it skidding across the hangar deck.

The seventh assassin finished charging up a massive amount of force energy, and unleashed it in the form of Chain Lightning. Kypaz angled his saber toward the seventh assassin in the Djem so style, and attempted to draw all the force lightning into his saber. The hellish storm of electrons hit Kypaz from all angles, and the Jedi screamed in pain and agony, trying to focus his mind. Swinging his saber around, and using his mental focus to direct the lightning toward his blade, all of the energy of the attack was re-directed toward his shimmering purple lightsaber.

The seventh assassin began charging up dark energy.

By now, the first assassin had returned for more, with the second dark blue saber held in the Djem so form. Kypaz switched to the Soresu style and continued.

They fought a close battle, and the assassin threw the second saber in the air, which the Jedi promptly shattered. Fuel containers were hurled at Kypaz by this first assassin, and Kypaz did a sideways dodge, and a handspring backflip, and avoided the heavy containers of fuel, and deflected several more with his saber.

The first assassin, unarmed, fled the scene. The second assassin also fled the scene.

The seventh assassin continued charging up dark energy.

The third assassin approached again, this time trying Soresu, but Kypaz quickly shattered the dark blue saber and kicked the assassin in the head, knocking it unconscious.

The fourth assassin was standing nearby, and was now also standing in Soresu. Kypaz easily shattered the lime green lightsaber and punched the assassin in the face, knocking him out cold. It landed next to the fifth assassin, who was still unconscious.

Now there were only two assassins left remaining. The seventh assassin was nearly finished charging up dark energy.

"Is this the best you've got? I'm Va'ard ing Kypaz!"

The sixth assassin centered himself and summoned his saber back to his hand, and unleashed a second green saber. This time, the sixth assassin approached in an advanced Niman form.

Unleashing Force Valor, the sixth assassin delivered an elegant combination of swings, quickly overpowering the Soresu defense, and cutting off Kypaz' hands at the wrist. Now Kypaz was totally unarmed.

Desperate, he had to do the only thing he could do, which was escape. Reaching deep into the Force, Kypaz delivered an flying leap over the heads of the two remaining assassins....

The sixth assassin jumped as well, delivering a series of lethal cuts to Kypaz as he flew through the air. His shredded body was then hit by a gigantic blast of dark side power....

The blast incinerated the mortally wounded Jedi. The Dark Side energy ripped the life out of Kypaz, leaving nothing but a smoking husk of shredded meat, which splattered all over the deck plating.

The seventh assassin began glowing with brilliant energy. The Penance experienced a momentary loss of power, and then all systems came back online.

    __________________________

Master On-so C'ba was returning to his quarters late that night, when a cloaked figure approached him. The cloaked figure raised its hands and began roaring triumphantly.

Within seconds, the dark figure used the force to channel the sonic energy into a concentrated blast, which increased in power and intensity. On-so attempted to flee the battle as quickly as possible, tapping into the force and doubling his speed and strength, but it was too late. A field of dark energy surrounded On-so, and he felt weak, he felt sick, and he felt disoriented. The dark figure fired the destruction beam at On-so, and the deck plating and the bulkheads began to tear apart.

On-so shielded himself with a bubble of the Force, and tried with all his might to hold the protective field, but it began to buckle. The shield shattered, and On-so C'ba was ripped apart by the beam, and the remains were sent scattering into space.

There was now a massive hole in the lower starboard side of the ship, and the deck began to decompress. The structural integrity force fields responded, and the hole in the ship was closed before the dark figure could be blown out into space.

    The dark figure moved on.

    __________________________

Master Kel Dih-Mar was returning to her quarters as well, when she was approached by a dark figure. She attempted to use the force to lift the assassin in the air and then toss it around, but the dark figure waved a hand, and canceled the maneuver. Kel Dih-Mar felt herself enveloped by a dark field of energy, and she felt sickness, nausea, and disorientation. All around her, and indeed, all around the Penance itself, there was a horrifying vortex of dark power, centered around Master Kel Dih-mar. She tried to use Force Push to knock the assailant away, but the Force had been drained completely out of her... she turned to run but it was too late. She felt the life being drained from her, and she lost consciousness. The dark side had consumed her in a maelstrom of death.

The dark figure began to laugh maniacally, relishing the death of the Jedi. Its booming voice could be heard from one side of the ship to the other.

Bane Anded- Grandmaster of the Jedi Order

Bane Anded: "It appears I was mistaken. Master Va'ard Kypaz was not a Sith Master or even a Sith Lord at all. I am afraid we might have committed a critical error in attacking Master Kypaz. Fortunately, Master Kypaz is not gone, for he continues to advise us through the Force, and we welcome his judgment and wisdom on all matters before the Council.

It seems I was also attacked last night, but I was able to remain hidden. Masters Kel Dih-mar and On-so C'ba were not so lucky, as they were both slain. Fortunately as well, Master Dih-mar is not gone either, and she continues to advise us through the Force. We welcome her judgment as well.

But I am not certain we have been defeated, fellow Jedi. I feel certain in fact that we have not been beaten yet. It is always darkest before the dawn. And a new day has dawned.

I say this to you, urgently, you MUST bring me a Sith Lord today. I will not accept the loss of any more Jedi. Do you all understand?"

The remnants of the Jedi Council nodded quietly, and began to commune with the Force and discuss this matter.

Yeah, that plan went real well...

Chaotix deserves to be lynched for that. It's fine if he's not Sith, because if he isn't the Sith deserve to win anyway.

    My guess is Chaotix.

Double A took quite a beating before he went down, there were a few moments there where I felt for sure that we had gotten a sith.

I disagree, although it will depend on Chaotix report. Here's what I see: Double A attacked Chaotix like he said he did. The Sith did not join in on the attack against Double A, instead going after their own targets. Everyone else followed the plan. Provided everyone who attacked Double A told Chaotix what attacks they were going to use, I'd things are going fine. Chaotix believed he could eliminite Sith candidates from this data and he has it.

Maybe this is still just a shot in the dark but This far into the game and daina is still awfully quiet. perhaps that is a viable lynch.

Well, that was a fun read.

    Anyway, vote: Nightbringer.

I revealed to him that Khazaar wasn't Sith, nor capable of becoming one, during last day phase. Fairly easy to draw a conclusion from that.

Also, Chaotix is still totally scum. I don't think he's Sith, but that doesn't automatically make him pro-town.

Can't the Sith attack two targets each?

Looking at the Sith actions it appears that they both used two different attacks, so assuming they are allowed only two attacks total then they couldn't have been any of the attackers on Double A. It appears only three people didn't attack Double A, so the sith must be two of those three.

    Most excellent.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

IMO, Chaotix just played you all. He's the Sith Master and has Force Breath. Even if you lynch him here, he'll surive and butcher several more of you tonight. If you then lynch him tomorrow, his apprentice will still be around and finish the rest of you off. Looks to me like he's got the game in the bag, and a rather well-deserved win as well. Killing his own apprentice on the first night was a bold move and he got away with it. A very decent victory, all considered.

Well I hope the force ghosts are prepared to share all information regarding the last jedi alive.

A thought crossed my mind yesterday; when Diamondeye attacked nightbringer some many nights back (correct me if I am completely mistaken) , they both used the same lightsaber form and Diamondeye used force Valor, while Nightbringer used meditation (assuming there is an ability named that) . It struck me a little odd that they were equally skilled in battle when Diamondeye was a lightsaber specialist and nightbringer is a force specialist. They should be at the exact same rank in the order.
So does anyone know how meditation works? (good against, bad against)

--Battle meditation- boosts stamina and strength (lightsaber passive +1) (PASSIVE)

That's good, but not godly. Like I said, lynch Nightbringer.

Quite possible. However, so far Chaotix's plan has gone about as well as it could of and I remain quite confident.

    I agree.

    Vote: Diana Abnoba.

Seriously, why didn't we try to lynch her again after she survived the last lynching?

vote: Diana Abnoba for now. She didn't start the game as an initiate, so she's a better lynch than Nightbringer.

    Could be host bias...

Seriously, though. She's been extraordinarily quiet, even when we talk about her. You guys never talked about me, so I didn't see much reason to talk, so this is fairly different.

    unvote, vote: Diana

    Nightbringer should be vigged, then.

Chaotix keeps using Dark Side powers, and he is probably darker now.

I don't concider WeW, Diana and Renata as likely sith lords I must admit.
That leaves at best 5 people I would be interested in giving a closer look; Chaotix, Nightbringer, Csargo, Seon and Psychonaut. . . And I am not so sure about psychonaut. . he has had an absense from this game which stands out quiet a bit.. and I don't expect that from the sith lord concidering how active both sith were after death... That would be less likely to happen if the sith lord weren't really paying attention to the game.

Chaotix: He killed Beskar and many times Iron Side wanted the town to lynch him.. Perhaps too many times ? would be in the same line of darring gameplay as killing of Beskar.

anyway, @ Cecil, could you post a list of night actions performed by Chaotix, Seon and Csargo? (psychonaut claimed he didn't report to the force ghosts iirc, and nightbringer only recently got his ability recently(?))

That's good, but not godly. Like I said, lynch Nightbringer.
so it does the same as force valor, except passive.. alright thanks :)

She has hardly replied in the thread.. hardly showed up to any of the accusations.. imo that's not lurking but absence

Could you explain this? I have seen this used as a reasoning before in this game, but I really thinks it needs to be explained.. Why is it more likely that the Sith Lord is someone higher ranking than initiate from the beginning?

    There. I feel better now.

The only way I'll vote otherwise is if his data gives me the impression that someone is scummier than him, or one of the other non-Kage ghosts can convince me to.

I have not had time to fully analyze the write-up yet, but I can say that all players who PM'd me and said they were going to attack showed up.

I got no PM from Psychonaut AT ALL, and Diana Abnoba claimed she was not able to kill and would protect me- and clearly in the write-up, she did not. Evidently she was not expecting me to be attacked by Double A- and so even though I was wrong about you, Double A, you have been very helpful in your death.

All evidence points to Psychonaut and Diana Abnoba being the Sith, and as Psychonaut is higher in rank, I believe he is more likely to be the Master. I will continue to analyze the write-up and provide a full account of what I can be sure everyone did last night.

    Vote: Psychonaut

I can take this two ways, and I'm somewhat biased towards one.

Diana claimed to be unable to attack? I find that to be totally bogus. Even I gained the ability to attack a few days back when I became a Master. (And I had never attacked anyone prior to last night.) Didn't she begin the game as a higher rank too? Correct me if I'm wrong, but all living players are Masters, and all Masters can attack.

    Vote: Diana Abnoba

@Double A - Sorry. But you really didn't do yourself any favors by lurking.

Eh, I'm not too miffed at you for thinking I was scum. I'd much rather see Chaotix lynched
