While searching various classics/history programs across the US to see what would be an optimal place for me to continue my studies I came across this article which mentions a panel on our favorite mod, EB and its significance on how historical accuracy and the classics are represented in the modern entertainment; specifically in this case, various forms of computer/video games.

http://rutgersclassics.wordpress.com/ (the panel is mentioned at the start of the fourth paragraph under All Roads Lead to Rome Classics Conference)

I was wondering, did anyone happen to attend this panel (wish I had, I only live about 30 min from Rutgers) but also, does anyone else know of other ways in which EB or various other RTW mods/vanilla have worked their way into academic conversation? I know that quite a few of you are academics yourselves, something which I aspire to be myself one day.
