Installer causes freezing and appears to be virus?!

Ok my friend tried to install EB yesterday, but his virus protector says the 1.1 file contains a virus, he downloaded it from the main website, so this is impossible. upon opening it the computer hangs up and he is forced to reboot, the same thing happens when he tries to delete it. He had to delete it through his bios settings.

He is running:

Windows 7 ultimate 64
dx 10
3 gb ram
1 tb harddrive ntfs
gforce 285 phsyx 1.5 gb

I would try it this way:
1. Disable this Anti-Virus program both during the download and the installation
2. Disable UAC while installing
3. Do not store the installer under Users, Program Files or inside the Windows folder and don't install RTW and EB inside Program Files.

The up-to-now reported issues that are very similar to this were resolved this way, if it won't work in your case post back!

I bet he used that useless Norton Anti Virus, report everything, and solve nothing, try Avira
