Since you didn't indicate whether you had a submod installed that affected the script, I am moving this to the main forum. My guess is that it does matter since the script hasn't registered that Taras was taken. So yes, you should reload.

BTW, rhegion and taras script actually had nothing to do except congratulating the players AFAIK.... continue the campaign as usual
