Petition: ATPG Please don't close your Mafia Game down.

We, the undersigned, implore the master of pizzaness, ATPG, not to abandon his Huge Mafia Game, Star Wars: Fall of the Order.

I will not sign this.

I have been in the same position. Hosting a game is a workload, but its worth it when you see the enjoyment people take. When some people pull out and don't participate for no reason, it is no longer fun.

I support his choice, either way. If he stops the game, I'm with him 100%.

I will watch this thread with interest, but I will be watching the Star Wars: Fall of the Order thread with even greater interest.

If you want that game to be successful, you will have to show it in that thread, not this one. Don't drop out.... get night actions in ASAP if you can, vote, participate, if the post number per day gets too high, just skip it or ask for a summary. Capo, Zelda, many other games were faster-paced than this one, and none of them got shut down during night phases. The thread could easily be double its current size if I hadnt done that.

I don't need people to be absolutely focused on the game, but I need bodies just for game balance. Don't quit, even an inactive is better than a WOG. You might get murdered. Maybe the game simmers down and you decide you want to play. Don't walk out....


Anywho. I am touched by the sentiment though. I leave it up to the gameroom moderators what they want to do with this particular thread. I wouldn't want the gameroom to get too laden with threads that aren't games, but I don't see a better place for it right now. It might be worth making this a place to discuss the game OOC and any issues regarding length of day phases, night phases, ask questions, and so on, so it serves more than one purpose.

If players feel the need to give Ser Pizza encouragement, please do so in the game thread, with a pm or on his page. Also, stop getting replaced/wog'd in his game.
