Default So I was Christmas shopping...

I thought I would do some Christmas shopping this morning so I did. I decided I would get my mother a ceramic knife I saw on the TV and take advantage of the buy one get one just pay shipping offer, keep one for myself. In the beginning info entering, I decided to put two as the amount to buy. I assumed this is how you get the second for free. Well, after I had order the two, the next screen asked me if I wanted the bogo offer. Yikes! I tried to navigate back to change the info, but it wouldn't allow me to, the order was placed! I was quite ticked off! Be careful with those sneakey TV offers. I guess I am just gullible and/or dumb! Anyway, I decided to give one to my Aunt instead of keeping the other, just to take away the sting of my (perhaps) being tricked! It is the season of giving afterall! I hope I still get those ceramic peelers!

I did something very similar on an online pizza order. Luckily I caught the mistake at the last second.
Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

I found that method of 'sales' somewhat sneaky and dishonest. Especially with money tight among many at this time. Many online stores I have visited allow you to look at the order you are about to place before to press the confirm button. This TV related website and another I visited and ordered on immediately afterward did not! :/ Well, I didn't make that mistake a second time!
