    That series is one of the annual Taiga Dramas, Japanese NHK television has aired and still is one per year. I think there are quite few of those series that are worth watching inclusing this one about Oda Nobunaga.

    Indeed. I watched "Furin Kazan" myself, and it was pretty awesome. They've got some impressive production values, especially since there's basically been a new episode every weak for decades.
