I agree wife beating is cowardly (they only do it behind closed doors, plus they wouldn't take on someone their own size), didn't say it wasn't, I was just asking why people think any sort of violence is cowardly, strangely the sort of people that say that sort of thing tend to be liberal types that would probably conscietiously object if they got called up.
