Surprised there's no thread on this yet...

So, Black Ops. The game I should be banned from for doing so good in. The game that made zombies epicly better than WaW. The game that got rid of many of MW2's imbalances.

Seriously, the game mechanics and everything would work perfectly if it wasn't for the sheer enormous amounts of lag. Today after playing zombies, me and my friends spent an hour trying to get into a match. For an entire hour, we either got into full lobbies that said it needed more people (18/18 possible people, but it still needs more so it simply will not start), or games that disconnected us immediately or fairly quickly after joining.

I'll try again tomorrow, but it is just soooo incredibly laggy, worse than MW2 in that respect by FAR.


However, when it's not lagging excruciatingly badly, I thoroughly enjoy the game as I get Chopper Gunner after Chopper Gunner every game I get in (or at least 3/4 of the games that dont lag out), and proceed to wipe the smirks off the faces of the many 10 year olds who insist on playing.

I loooove the emblem creation, and, while many people (I'd say about half) put something obviously sexual (mainly male parts) as their emblem, I enjoy being able to create a fully customized emblem, and lots of people admire it actually. (BTW, mine is an Eagle-Globe-and-Anchor all in gold, with a red background, with crossed M16's with M203's above it, a dog on the side of the EGA, a skull on the other side, with a belt of ammo directly above the EGA and between the M16's, finished off with a golden chain across the top. It looks reeeeeally good, I'll post a pic eventually)

I guess thats all I wanna say for now, I'll add on more later.

Step back from MW and WaW imho. Yeah lag is bad, but the maps also aren't all that good it favours cheap tactics way too much. They must fix the lag and release some more maps. Best part about it atracts people who love to camp, taking them away from MW and WaW. Going to pick up Medal of Honour next week, the underdog with longer breath.

15$/€ for 5 maps, 2 of which are reworked old ones. Maybe this time they put in less maps so they can make people pay for more than 2 map packs later.

MoH campaign: best ive ever played without a doubt. incredibly memorable and amazing.

MoH multiplayer: garbage. 4 maps, same engine as BC2 (which is good, but jacked up here for some reason), bad balance, and if you think camping is bad in Black Ops, you haven't seen anything yet.

Best Cod Since Modern Warfare In my opinion. Fixed many MW2 flaws and I like the way it plays. I'm very happy with it so far.

Love the game. Nukes modern warfare 2 imo. Also fighting zombie hordes with McNarmara and JFK can never get old.

Ah well Killzone 2 isn't boring me yet, gonna wait for part 3. You might like it, the most realistic tactical-shooter even if the setting is sci-fi, won't get away with pot-shots and throwing back nades the enemy AI relentlesly hunts you down.
