Yep. I'm in two Early hotseats with RR disabled, one Early hotseat with RR enabled (Double Jeopardy) and two Late hotseats with RR enabled. And when I play single player I do so with BYG, Limited Activities, Longer Assimilation and all the other bells and whistles. All you need to do is create a shortcut to the SS_setup file and use that each time you want to start the game - once you've run it the game starts automatically so it hardly takes any extra effort.

so just so we're reading off the same page brothers SS 6.3 Early Era, Set up options are Savage AI, Disable RR, Enable the No waiting Mod. The rules are as posted on the TWC thread with the suggestions implemented by Phonics.
Are we still good to go for next week?

If we're enabling the No Waiting Mod, then we don't need to disable RR - the two options are mutually exclusive. We just need to select "Savage AI" and "No Waiting with AOR". Everyone will also need to install the latest version of the fixes from here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=378648

to enable the No Waiting Mod.

Guys from the org (StOuFf and IB) should also install the hotseat patch from here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...23#post8291123

so they can keep the Disable RR option for our other SS6.3 hotseats.

    Hi Swarbs,

I never know about this hotseat patch. I have been playing in the 6.3 "favourites" hotseat without using this.

Will it now screw up this hotseat if I install the patch? and what about single-player? Does it have any effect?

It's completely save game compatible for all hotseats and single player. In fact, every submod in SS6.3 is savegame compatible through the use of the SS_setup program. All the submods for SS6.3 go through the setup program. So before each game you just run the setup program and choose the options and submods you want to use.

For the favourites hotseat, choose Early Era, Savage AI, Disable RR
For this hotseat, choose Early Era, Savage AI, No Waiting with AOR
For single player, choose whatever you want. I recommend Gracul AI, BYG IV, Limited Activities and Longer Assimilation for a truly gruelling challenge ;) Try it with Portugal if you want to die horribly...

What would happen if I didn't change these settings before each game. Because I haven't been doing this, although not a problem so far. I must have been using the "favourites" hotseat settings when playing single-player.
