    Default RIP Neil Armstrong.

A man that took true risks in the effort of space exploration.

    Default Neil Arnstrong.

A true hero. What every little boy wanted to be in the 60s.

    A legend. R.I.P.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Rest in Peace Neil. You kept the small step for yourself and gave the giant leap to all of us.

R.I.P. Mr Armstrong. Just like the moon, your landing line was cheesy. None of that matters though, you did it for all of us and for that we thank you brave sir.

Hard to believe that two men were sent safely from Earth to the moon and back again with late '60s technology. Amazing, really. Here is the undelivered speech President Nixon prepared for the possibility that they would either die in a crash or be unable to leave the moon.

Also note that some people have not gotten hip to the Org tradition of neither trashing nor politicizing a death until after the funeral.

Oh wow, that was quite a moving speech. Thank god we never had to hear it, in fact, I'm overwhelmed with glee that we never had to hear it.

On a side note, it makes me feel sorry for the 'Lost Cosmonauts'.
