Default Am I doing anything wrong?

For the sake of historical accuracy (and because I really don't want a never ending war across the Sahara) I am trying to post this little fella back to the Ptolemaic lands, however for some reason it isn't working.

    Am I doing anything wrong?

Also apologies if Ludens views this as not being an EB topic.

Yes, internal names can only have two names; with Seleukid and Ptolemaic ones there's no space between second and third name, and no capitalisation of the third.

So the one there should be: move_character "Damon Kitioukypriakou" 138,69.

With Koinon Hellenon names, ignore the third.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

The wrong thing that you did was to build a road, without it the Ptolemaioi would have either gone east or sat down and enjoyed their sisters XD

Actually, the problem was allowing them to take Kyrene. I always spawn additional troops there to prevent them taking it, regardless of what faction I'm playing. That's an effective bulwark against either side initiating an ahistorical war.

With VH/M I've never seen the Ptolemaioi coming to Lepki when there's no road in the region...

A few turns ago the govenor of Lepki died and I didn't notice, in the absence of a govenor the auto-manage decided to build a road.

lol, Royal Incest... and yet they outlived the other Diadochi?!

The common people also regularly practised brother/sister marriages, not just the royal family. Stopped letting the neighbours get their filthy paws on your estates, the entire heritage would stay in the family as it were. ;-)

Seems very weird to us, but it doesn't seem to have caused that much trouble. Our incest taboo mostly isn't for biological reasons, it seems.

Incest doesn't 'create' new defects, random mutation is just as likely between non-related as blood-related people and that 'creates' new defects in children.

Incest increases the chance of already genetically present defects/traits in the bloodline being observed. For example if your family has a recessive defective gene it is 'never' going to show itself unless the person you have children with also has the same gene - if this is family they likely also have the same gene so the chances of the defect being displayed are increased as the possible combinations of having two recessive defective genes are increased.
