Thanks for the answer-there was no second question (my mystake)-i simply meant that i can recruit italic generals everywhere when is the "polybian homeland"-taras, rhegion, segesta, bononia-the only exeption is patavium-why?
I think I found it myself-there is a bug in the export descr building-the coordinate for "Venetia" the region of patavium are wrong

Is Patavium a homeland region? I recall it as being Expansion, but I am afraid I don't have the maps here with me.

Patavium is mostly Celtic; there were very few Italic peoples living there. Taras and Rhegion were controlled by Greek colonies, but there still were many "native" Italians.
