Keep those chapters on your HDD even if you don't have the web space to keep them all up...

Well Maltz these are great. You even inspired me to play a campaign. Which is an accomplishment as I am playing my 3rd campaign in 10 months of having Shogun.

But I just wanted to point out a few errors in Chapter 1. You call the province that you took from Shimazu in the heading you called them Ronin and the battle for the Oda province in the heading you called it Aki I think.

Great stuff, Maltz. Thanks for putting up the second half of the Oda saga again, as I missed it the first time round.

Keep the stories coming, they're a great inspiration.

The general claimed the troops owed their victory to him, but in truth they knew it was their gift to the general.

    Maltz
Another Hit! I don't know how you do it..

Intravenous fluids for food, catheter for biological breaks; but what do you do for sleep? Caffine only takes you so far.

    I'm really enjoying these stories

    Thank you all.

You might have noticed that the Mori00.htm was cut due to insufficient webspace at the time I FTP, and I didn't notice it. It's fixed now.

As soon as the web space issue is settled (much thanks to .org who might lend me some free space), I will be able to get Chapter 4 and later ones posted. I have played till chapter 10 - as I don't have to write story for now

Really neat Maltz! Thank you for putting in print your Samurai saga. I've often imagined my own little dramas, complete with betrayals, bravery, shame & honor while playing campaign after campaign. See ya!

Mori Motonari, a great General indeed...

well, he was at around 12 victories in 1549... Mori clan had expanded to the Owari, Mino, and Wakasa parameter. It is there that I ran into not one, but two hordes! Imagawa and Usegi. Well, being Mori, my income had been quite low. However, I managed to train a large reserve army of calvary and monks. Lord Mori, being audacious that he was, decided to go on a "march to the East". His goal was not to capture the territory, but to plunder and pillage, leaving the territory devastated and barren. That he did. He embarked his fierce warriors on the fleet and led the Reserve Calvary Corp to Mutsu, where he had secretly dispatched a emissary to act as a beacon. Upon disembarkation, Lord Mori realized, the beach was lightly defended, and Mutsu was sacked with no losses. From there, he marched west to Musashi sacked the territory, destroying valuable training grounds that took years to complete. From Musashi, Lord Mori's advance scout detected large moblization taking place in Shinano, and wisely embarked his forces and returned to the base in Owari. In 8 year period, he led not less than 11 incursions into the Imagawa territory and razed their lands to ground. Needless to say, Grand Army of Imagawa was everely crippled and Lord Mori became a 29 victory, 6th Rank general.

    * It would have been more interesting if the enemy did stay and give it a fight... oh well.... But it was cool launching raids like that and force the AI to run back and postpone assaults.

    Great!!!!

If you want an even more dramatic story, try Mori, Expert, 120 men units. Then you know what means "low income".

Very nice Maltz. Your stories really
motivates me to do the EXPERT campaign for
MORI and IMAGAWA (have only completed
    SHIMAZU and ODA on EXPERT)

During my ODA campaign, I thought it was not
possible to defeat the monks on ISE and
yamashiro on the first season!! But bec I read your first story I restarted my campaign
    and tried it and whoa,success.Thanks.
