Help requested

I am sometimes requested by one of my allies to assist them for a battle against common ennemies. Fine ! But how do I request help from my allies ?

I can think of one thing that might lead to assistence of allies, there is one diplomatic option ''Attack faction'' which you can request the AI to attack a certain faction that you want them to

But thats all i guess, never heard of anything else related to this, though i might be wrong.

If an allied army is close enough to the battle tile when you order the attack they'll just join you on the battlefield as reinforcements.
