There is a person out there who stole (literally stole) a specific ability from a specific player.

You will know which person you are, and which ability was stolen.

As mentioned in my Star Wars game (Drain Knowledge, the equivalent power) this power can be used to prove you were active and busy that night doing something besides killing.

If you reveal to me who you are, it will exonerate you of being Samus, Pikachu, and the other killer Dedede.

If you do not reveal to me, I will assume when I find you that you are mafia or otherwise malevolent.

edit- to clarify; I think the only evil person you could be is Beskar's unknown partner; the non-Samus partner. Hesitation to reveal, from my point of view, indicates that any loss of privacy would be game-losing for you, and I don't think that should be the case for an innocent.

I know we need to look at other suspects, and there's no sense killing the day with a single bandwagon. But please make sure that askthepizzaguy ends up dead at the end of it. If you think we can use him safely, you are gravely mistaken.

He knew full well that Beskar was scum, but was using him to advance his own interest. Sooner or later, at a time most convenient to him, pizza would have thrown Beskar to the mob anyway.

He will pull the same kind of stuff over and over, feeding the town just enough information to make him seem useful, and manipulating events so that lynching him never seems like the best option. And when it comes to the endgame, he'll have made sure there's one last scummer (or someone who can be painted as scum) alive to lynch instead of him.

Don't take the risk. Lynch askthepizzaguy today.

I could have left Beskar alive so he was lynched instead. I could have tried to randomly hit Samus myself, and accomplish my mission.

You still don't get it, do you?

He knew full well that Beskar was scum
No, I did not. I did think he was being manipulated by a scum, and then I thought he was third party.

I don't expect you to believe what I say, but it sucks that the only thing you know how to do with me is ignore me. You really shut off your own options.

How about commenting on Insanious, or pevergreen? You want to do the following:

I know we need to look at other suspects, and there's no sense killing the day with a single bandwagon. But please make sure that askthepizzaguy ends up dead at the end of it.
You want to make sure I am dead, while also pressuring other suspects. There is no pressure if they know the outcome.

Yes, you could have done something that looked scummier. But you can only win here by pretending to be on the town's side.

I know that the only sensible thing to do with scum is to lynch them. The town is doing pretty well right now, but it'll be doing better once you're dead.

I'm not pretending. You have a dead Dark Samus and a Dead Shadow Peach.

I have Seon to thank for Dark Samus, and I honestly do have you to thank for Shadow Peach. It still bugs me a little that you were not the one leading the charge on Beskar as soon as you found out he could kill; but you're town, so what can I say.

The thing about townies is, sometimes they don't know a good thing when they see one.

Your pressure on Beskar forced him to admit to me he could kill; among other things. I changed my mind because I listened to you even when I thought you were scummy scummy scummy scum.

When Samus dies, and I promise, I'll make that happen ASAP, then kill me kill me kill me. I am NOT going for a last man standing survival victory. I am going for the Samus death by my hands primary victory.

I won't kill unless with town approval. I won't live more than a few more rounds. I can be lynched when you lack suspects. I can investigate. I am not even asking to survive that long.

You are shooting yourself in the foot, tbh.

I know that the only sensible thing to do with scum is to lynch them. The town is doing pretty well right now, but it'll be doing better once you're dead.
You know what else you can do with scum? Get them to kill each other off. Especially if you ARE doing well.

But if nobody's calling for your head, then you'll never get lynched.
I don't know if you've noticed, but everyone says I need to die soon. Soon doesn't need to be right now, but I doubt anyone's definition of soon means 7 rounds from now.

I bet you if I go a full day and night without smashing some mafia's head in, they'll call for my lynch. I'll regurgitate and then eat my hat again.

I don't believe that you will sign your own death warrant by giving us Samus, and I am quite certain that you are lying about your victory conditions.

About ATPG, the results speak for themselves, he has been able to catch two mafia with what he is doing and one of them was Dark Samus, so he is most defintely been very useful for the town. I am sure that we as the town can still have some control over who he kills, but of course we do know that he kills and that is a bit of worry which is why I understand your worries about him. But it does seem that Insanious has something to hide, so he needs to speak out of forever hold his peace.

He's scum. He's spent the whole game working with scum. His claimed victory conditions are too convenient to be believable. And he knows I've got his number.

That's why, just like Beskar, he resorts to mockery - the last refuge of the scumbag.

Edit: Oh, and don't let him pretend that discussing him for the lynch means we can't chase other suspects.

No way dude. I haven't been mocking you, I've been responding to your points seriously.

Everything I did, from the very first moment I contacted you, until now, was to try to get you to listen to me, and talk to me. I didn't want to kill you; I wanted to see if there was something you could tell me that would convince me you were worth keeping around.

Had your response been: "I stole Plasma Cannon, from Beskar. I think he's scum" I would have asked Beskar if this were true; which in fact I did, when it was Beskar who was the one who told me you made that allegation. I still asked him if it was true. After some screwing around, he admitted it.

It was then that I asked for his whole story; I already knew he had ties to a likely Samus mafioso, with his detective, and now a killing power too? He fed me a nice story about him being a mason team with an investigator. It was quite creative.

One of the two of you were lying; I felt it was you because of your behavior, your hesitation, your generalities. And Beskar, well.... what scum does what he did so soon? Well I was wrong. And, by questioning you, I figured it out in time to stop a bad move and start a good one. And that all happened when you finally stopped being stubborn and actually treated my questions with respect.

I've already given you credit for being right on Beskar. So much so, that I risked my head, shattered a pseudoalliance (one based on lies) with the Samus team and angried up a good friend of mine, just because I liked your answers and I disliked his.

You're fine to be suspicious, and you're doing your duty to be vigilant. But please, don't act like I've mistreated you. What happened last night was a sign of great respect for you, NOT mockery.

The popcorn thing was a joke... you were in disbelief about what I claimed I was going to do, and I responded with a well-known reference to something said by a famous football player who was being braggadocious.

I think you very much misconstrue my intentions there.

This is all beside the point anyway. You've got your mind made up, and a closed mind is incapable of listening.

I'll do this with or without you. Sorry you feel that way.

I like the case on Insanious; I think there's a good chance that he's scum. In fact, if we end up lynching someone who isn't Pizza or Insanious, I'd like to ask Pizza to eat him...

But we need other suspects than those two; we know there are members of both scumsquads out there still. I can't help but look at Beefy's noncommitting posts when the Dark Samus team was being trawled up. I think that's worth my vote:Beefy187 for now, at least. Wasn't he also one of the people mentioned in RR's "voting block"-schtick?

@Chaotix, can you have the player list to reflect who has replaced who, to make understanding the roles better from what the previous player was reacting, just in case one of the happened to be scum, unlikely as it is.

I just did not want to edit a post with a vote, hence this new one.

This is stuff that I do not think should be delayed; but at the same time, whoever Beskar is, it's not Samus, and I can prove it.
We know today that you were probably wrong. It appears that Beskar was Samus-aligned.

I am not, unlike others (Hi Sasaki!), ready to accept this at face value. I want to know how you conclude that Diamondeye is not one of the three roles that you listed.

I don't know who to vote for at the moment, and ATPG doesn't want more vote on Insanious anyway.

But I know where I can lay a good vote, temporarily, if not permanently.

    vote: Askthepizzaguy

It can't be a bad idea to have some votes on him, if we decide he has to go.

I believe that Insanious is a scum. Perfect Information Syndrome is a potent clue.
But, since I understand why it could be beneficial not to have too big wagon on him, I will vote on my second target.
For the reasons I explained earlier (fear, mostly) I vote: ATPG

Let's not forget about this important thread of investigation - nobody has followed up on it after the morning's events. If you recall, Beskar was aware of Reenk Roink's voting block even though he wasn't on the invite.

According to Ironside in this post:

Renata was Dark Samus, so she could not have leaked to Beskar. That leaves Reenk himself (confirmed dead townie) or one of the other 3.

So, one of Ironside, Beefy, or pevergreen knew who Beskar was on N1. My analysis is as follows:

Ironside - On one hand gave us the full clarity into details of voting block, on the other hand, could be WIFOM.

pevergreen - he has been active and contributing posts, but I haven't seen anything concrete from him to help the town. Could be a sign of a mafia who's avoiding being a lurker.

Beefy - Has been lurking like a bandit this game, on the other hand some people here are charmed by ACIN/Csargo/Beefy style of silliness for whatever reason.

I'd like to see all three of the suspects reveal their roles and actions to date. I am more suspicious of pever / beefy than of Ironside as he did the full reveal on the voting block to the whole town.

    Vote: pevergreen

Beefy, ATPG and Glenn, were all left hanging in a 3-way tie at 4 votes on Day 2, before it was extended. It's a sign that each of them does not have teammates, specially not on the Bowser team who was full at the time, or they would have placed a vote to change the tally.

So it's doubtful that Beefy leaked the info to Beskar.

Ahem, ATPG did not catch Corrupted Peach. ATPG fought it as hard as he could, even when it was clearly futile. The person who nailed Beskar was Winston Hughes and only Winston Hughes. Give respect where respect is due.

Well he could have still tried to kill Winston, but he killed Beskar, so he does deserve some credit for removing a scum, even if he had to be prodded into doing so.

What's the case on Insaneous? I read he had perfect info syndrome, but what was the context on that? I'm pleased with ATPG's results so far, but we have to be very careful to let a third party guide the town's voting.
