Nictel, I think you need to post a new post since you edited a vote...

On the topic of votes. Is it possible that we could try and hang a scum today? I'm going to go with unvote; vote:ACIN
If God is great, and if God is good, why can't he change the hearts of men?"

Squirming to save yourself doesn't mean much by itself, but by saying you want to lynch scum and then going for ACIN who for a variety of reasons isn't the best choice for that reason, just makes you look like you want to save yourself and go with a possible counterwagon, which again, isn't that bad in itself, but coupled together, seems quite insincere. Plus the Nictel vote thing. It's OK, the pain will be over soon.

I'd say a potential scum is better than someone I know to be innocent.
Are you saying you're certain there's no scum among the replacements?

Not at all, but... what Romanic said is better than what I can say. What you are doing is certainly cause for suspicion, and unlike fluffy, my gut isn't saying you're innocent either.

    You're cooked Diamondeye.

You voted Nictel without a good reason. Then you tried to move our attention away by agreeing that replacements are suspect. Then it's landlubber, because "he's the best alternative". Next you vote for autolycus because Frozen mentioned the possibility that Goombario is mafia. And now, it's acin, but I can't figure why.

If you were Town, you'd be looking for the best candidate, making a good case on him and lay down your vote, but instead you are shuffling your vote around, hoping to start something that will save yourself.

Well yes I'm not "in the know". I feel like I'm the only one actually doing any talking, the rest of the town (and the mafia) taking cheap shots at me, mostly.

I don't know who the scum are. I hardly have a clue - I'm thinking Greyblades and Beefy, possibly Skooma too, are innocent. The rest; No idea.

Yes, yes I am trying to save myself at the moment. We're on the clock with seven townies against two scum. Any hit that isn't on me had a chance to be a mafia. I'm grasping at straws because I'm hoping to win this game and at the moment I'm drowned in votes backed by poor or zero reasoning. I've been active throughout the game and scanned by three different scans, and still people think I'm scum because of what exactly? I helped lynch every scum there's been lynched; I started the Ironside wagon, I was on the TinCow wagon from the start to the end, not fearing the overdrive. I don't know what more I need to do to prove my innocence. Apparently, being a replacement player and popping by to say "DE is scum" is better.

DE starting the Ironside wagon has been the one thing nagging me the whole time about the possibility of him being Dooplis. When DE made that vote it was in no way guaranteed that Ironside was going to become the major lynch, target though it was likely. Ironside did say that the Bowser team was using him as cannon fodder, so there is a chance DE bused him to try to gain townie cred.

Let's look back at Diamondeye's vote on Ironside.

It's Day 7, the tally is

    3 Skooma (Glenn, Beefy, classical_hero)
    1 Csargo (Csargo) how scummy!
    1 classical_hero (Seon)
    And DE makes this vote:

No evidence, no reasoning. It appears to be a shot in the dark. It could be an attempt to distance himself from Ironside. I mean, surely Ironside isn't going to be lynched with Skooma having 3 votes, this is a golden opportunity....

Then Yaro places the next vote,

    It's now Skooma 3, Ironside 2....

So DE makes the next post,

Now JHT is also a good suspect

Then a case was made about Beskar protecting Ironside and the bandwagon grew fast, and Ironside was eventually lynched.

Anyway, this is to show that DE's vote on Ironside wasn't the deciding factor in the Ironside lynch. His vote, and the reason he gave, were weak and could have been a distancing tactic. His reaction to the 2nd vote, by Yaro, is very noteworthy.

    A question aimed at Diamondeye...

Were you a part of Seon's network?

I talked to Seon, and claimed my first ability to him.
He let me know sometimes when I voted in a way I shouldn't (against you, per example, at one point).
I would say I was in contact with him... Part of his network, probably not. I had no abilities to offer. But he had scanned me and trusted me somewhat until the CI-Paranoia took over.

... No? I never removed my vote from Ironside because I thought he was mafia. I felt, in the spirit of recent teachings, that we could look at several suspects at once. Yet I kept my vote where it counted.

You are just making bull up now, Romanic. I'd fos you if you weren't a dead townie.

Diamondeye, we'll know about you soon enough.

What was your next post after those I quoted?

At this point, I think the best idea would be to lynch Skooma - or Ironside - and send a scanner in on Classical. It would be neat if Seon scanned Classical Hero while Captain Falcon protected Seon. That way we're pretty sure we'll have a definite scan result on him and not just some "oh by the way THIS GUY IS GUILTY - now I'll go back to lurking" accusations.
It doesn't feel like you thought Ironside was the best pick. I mean, this post shows that you are trying to reverse the trend on Ironside. Surely you will not call this BS.

Also interesting is the part where you suggest to scan classical_hero (Samus) when it's obvious that the godfather was protected against scanning abilities, or at least most of them.
