I actually have a grade A at GCSE-level French, though the 'qualification' was earned over seven years ago now. xD

However, I can still speak and understand French when it is spoken to me, to a decent level of competency, in addition to being able to read French and understand it to some extent... however, I'm absolutely awful at writing it; I'm always forgetting where accents are supposed to be or whether a word is masculine or feminine, for example. That was always my weakest part back in school. >.<

As for German, most of what I know comes straight from the history books; however, I do know a few of the rudimentary phrases such as "hello", "thank you", "you're welcome" and so on, in addition to a few choice insults and expletives.

Si. A todo le sienta bien el tomate; pero al chocolate, qué disparate.

That's a coincidence, I learned my German from porn movies.
"Ich wolle deine Schwanz blazen." and all that kind of thing.
    and of course Jean-Marie Pfaff

But in all seriousness I'm quite decent in French and German. What the reason you're asking?

Hey thank you Psychonaut! I never knew the rest of 'Santa Rita'!

Spanish morals and fables are always very cute.

I am magnificently well, Fragony, and I see that you have become much more politically controversial than ever before within the confines of the Backroom!

Sorry Warman - I am sufficiently fluent in German, yet I speak it with a strong Austrian accent.
But French is better left to Francemen and cheesy romantics.

You know what a synonym for 'horse' is in German? 'Gaul'!

Well not that I like to blow my own trumpet or anything (unrelated to previous alusions to porn in this thread), but I'm fluent in French, Castilian, Italian -and can just about make myself understood in English. My German is a little rusty however.
