Got a 5 feet long sword. The blade itself is 4 feet.
The chap who ordered it to be made picked a smith who normally makes scimitars and the like, and he didn't know much about straight swords, so he messed up the hilt, made it too think....but still, it's pretty nice.

I'm not a christian, so christmas was just another day. I woke up, took a shower, went to bestbuy (they had messed up an order I made December 21-my old computer's motherboard died, so I got me this ASUS computer: I still prefer the old one). then I came back, had lunch, wrote to RIchard delivering to him 2 plates for the Modenese army (http://www.kronoskaf.com/syw/index.p...=Modenese_Army), one of which, at the time of this writing, is gracing the front page of the Seven years war section

the real news for me in fact, was a recent assgnment regarding the French army: I'm not going to say what it is, but checking out the French army page should pretty much give you an idea as to what it is.

For the last five or six years my father and I have exchanged guns for Christmas and birthdays. It has gotten a little out of hand, but they hold their value a lot better than clothes that will be out of season in a year and a lot of other things.
I got him this along with two pistols this year.
