Cheap rifle is about $75. Generally I see them for anything between $250-$750. Pistols have a smaller gap but i haven't seen one (btw im not counting .22) cheaper than about $150, and the price can stretch onto about $600.
Then you have your collector rifles which can get up into the ten's of thousands, though the most common ones probably go from about 750-2500.

What I got for Christmas? Clothes, a casserole, a frying pan and two bags of coffee.... And I was overjoyed!
