umm, how do you do the mods?

I played the other non-playable factions before using mods. Now i have Windows 7, and they dont seem to work. Can anyone help?

What mod did you use beforehand for playing non-playable factions? Was it just the simple change to the descr_strat file? Because if it was then I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on your new OS

It was descr_strat file. For some reason it won't accept the changes. Weird..

I got it-I can now play the other non-playable factions! The file was on read only mode.
