Default The trade routes - can they provide a bonus

So, on the beautiful made loading screens, there are presented trade routes.

Wonder if they give a bonus should all the cities on a given route be captured?

The route is just represented by the buildings in the cities on the roads. Some ends of a route might miss a building (no Silk Road in Seleukeia). Those buildings all give an individual trade boost.

I lived for three years not knowing what AAR is.

Completed Campaigns: Epeiros (EB1.0), Romani (EB1.1), Baktria (1.2) and Arche Seleukeia

Sardis has a building for the Persian Royal Road, which gives a trade bonus.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

Ok, thanks, so it sounds like I should not try and capture each city on a given trade route, to "own" the route, but just build the related structures.

I didn't build it, and don't think I can - not sure if the Seleucids could have, or whether it's there automatically.
