Strange Dream

I had a strange dream last night:

I was laying my head on my wife's belly, when I noticed she was pregnant. Her belly began to grow, and eventually she gave birth to a giant baked turkey, maybe 75 pounder.

Then I woke up.

I attribute it to jet lag from Transatlantic flight, and a summation of Christmas with the in-laws.

Weird dreams keep you sane, vaccuum-cleaner of the mind. Subconsiousness reorganises things so you don't have to. I sometimes wonder how I cook things up, amazingly detailed places like a mall with giant tree in it, I' positively sure I have never been in such a place. Reocurring: waves that keep getting higher and higher, a T-Rex who really dislikes me and keeps showing up, can't run I lack the strength, and something happening to my cat Nero. Poor Blitzkrieg (other cat), never dream aout him, and I really love that cat

yeah...I kicked myself for a few minutes for that one.

These days I've got into the habbit of drinking lots of milk to put on weight, and I swear it is giving me crazy dreams since they started around the same time.

Last night I dreamed I moved out and rented a house with one of my friends. But then when we went outside we got into a fight with some UAF (Unite against Fascism) protesters. And then I thought I woke up and switched off my alarm, and noticed there was blood all over me, and my belly button had been half torn out.

Then I actually woke up and checked the clock, and it was a hour before my alarm was set to go off.

There you have the meaning of your dream: you wish she did cook - at least once in a while, even if it is a turkey slow-cooked at 98 degrees F for nine months. BTW, towards the end of February she'd better start cooking that turkey if it is going to be done in time for Thanksgiving.

I have had some strange experiences with dreams. If you want to call them that. I have a hard time sleeping, took Tylenol PM to alleviate the insomnia. I would sleep erratically then awake, well, half asleep half awake. I would see ghosts, two at different occassions accompanied by strange chanting. Scare me scare me! Otherwise, just the basic schizophrenic type dreams.

That sucks. You know what, though? I hear codeine helps you get peaceful, restful nights. Take some of it before you go to sleep tonight.

Why does it suck, weird dreams are cool even the scary ones, and they aren't cool they help you dealing with things. It's a pressure valve. It's fascinating where the mind takes you, sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming of another life; never been there, don't know that person. What is odd is that I'm always fully aware that I'm dreaming.

Be careful with that son. One should never abuse any medication, but especially opiates. Drink too much of that stuff any your kidneys might decide to quit on you.

Either I have these very short minimalistic and bizarre dreams or I have lengthy cinematic dreams with thick plots that if I could film would be complete blockbusters. Sadly I always forget the story really quickly afterwards.

That's my boy same here. I often make really witty jokes, but it's hard to write them down when you are asleep
